Lien and Nasser were married in the picturesque Townsville botanic gardens. The ceremony was conducted under the supervision of their friends and family and a very friendly kookaburra. Just like their union, their reception was the meshing of two cultures - Australian and Muslim. It was such a special experience to see two groups of people embrace each other's cultures so wholeheartedly, all for the sake of love.
